The FDGT strengthens Finnish engagement in international digital initiatives by supporting projects aligned with Finland’s trade and development goals, leveraging national strengths in digitalisation, and creating opportunities for Finnish actors to participate in EU, multilateral, and bilateral partnerships.

3. A stronger strategic role for Finland in the D4D Hub

FDGT enhances Finland’s voice in international digital cooperation. Through a Finnish expert based at the D4D Hub Secretariat in Brussels, Finland helps shape EU digital initiatives and share its strengths in secure, inclusive connectivity. FDGT also opens doors for Finnish experts to join global digital initiatives and working groups.
