The overall objective is to enhance the accountability, efficiency, effectiveness and public confidence of the Turkish National Police, Gendarmerie and Coast Guard in the discharge of their responsibilities in respect of the enforcement of law in accordance with democratic principles and having regard for the Human Rights of all citizens. The purpose is to support the implementation of the primary legislation with regards to a new independent complaints system for the Turkish National Police, Gendarmerie and Coast Guard, and to start the full operations of the new complaints system and consolidate the system. The activity mainly aims at making the existing mechanisms more effective, fast functioning and transparent so that the complaints against the law enforcement officials are to be examined, monitored and resulted.

Improve effectiveness and efficiency of the public administrations fighting against corruption. Technical Assistance action was targeted to the most important authorities in fighting against corruption in Greece. African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (ACCORD) promotes and encourages the constructive resolution of disputes by the peoples of Africa and so assist in building political stability, economic recovery and peaceful co-existence within just and democratic societies. Within this project HAUS recruits and manages the post of a Junior Professional Officer in Peacebuilding. The Junior Professional Officer works as part of the team of the ACCORD, under the professional supervision of its General Manager.

Guangdong Civil Servants Training Program on Public Management, 2007 – 2017
This one month training programme for 35 Chinese civil servants was carried out yearly at HAUS Finnish Institute of Public Management Ltd. The goal of the training was to help the participants to grasp the theories of public management and give them an insight into the public management of Finland and other Western countries, and as a result, improve the ability and work performance of the participants.

Based on a feasibility study, a Middle Management Development Programme (MMDP) was designed to be carried as a programme for the envisaged Namibian Institute for Public Administration and Management (NIPAM).

Twinning: Support to the Civil Service Office, 05/2003 – 05/2005
Strengthen the capacity of the State administration services by improving the professionalism, stability, motivation and ethical behaviour of civil servants, through full implementation of the Civil Service Law.
A fully effective and developed Civil Service Office by strengthening its internal capacities to produce, implement and monitor acts and secondary legislation and regulation under the Civil Service Law, which the CSO is responsible for according to the law, and thus ensuring full implementation of the Civil Service Law adopted by the National Council in July 2001 (312/2001).
