Twinning: Action Plan on Integrated Border Management-Phase II, 10/2010 – 08/2012

Achieve the EU overall strategic goal of open and secure borders by developing and strengthening Turkey’s legal, institutional and technical capacity for alignment with EU integrated border management (IBM) policy. The project purpose is to support the Turkish Government in transforming the current border management to an integrated border management and enlarging the prototype green and blue border surveillance and check points and ensure further development and implementation of high level border management architecture and standards in line with EU’s IBM policies and strategies.
