Konsta Heikkilä

I am Konsta Heikkilä, Program Lead and Senior Specialist at HAUS.

The Democratic Resilience program responds to a time when the resilience of democratic institutions cannot be taken for granted. The programme’s projects strengthen the legitimacy and accountability of public administrations, public financial management, and evidence-based decision-making. The programme combines ongoing and emerging initiatives with an agile, results-based approach.

My path in international affairs has run from academic studies of politics and development to international organisations, crisis management assignments, and projects funded by the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the European Union across Africa, Central Asia, and Europe.

In my free time, I play golf whenever I have a chance.
