Shirin Namiq

I am Shirin Namiq, a Finnish expert currently based in South Africa, with almost 20 years of international experience across development cooperation, humanitarian operations, civilian crisis management, and digital innovation. I have worked extensively with EU-funded programmes, UN agencies, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and private sector actors across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

A significant part of my work has focused on strengthening governance, sustainability, digital systems, and investment readiness. Through my role at HAUS Finland, I currently lead and support initiatives related to digital transformation, data governance, AI readiness, and African-European innovation ecosystems.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my dog Kiki and working on creative projects.
